Prunus laurocerasus 'Majestic Jade'

Prunus laurocerasus 'Majestic Jade'

'Majestic Jade' Cherry Laurel

The foliage of 'Majestic Jade' is larger and rounder than its parent P. 'Otto Luykens' and it grows more like a Skip Laurel. It was chosen by Dr. Dirr from many seedlings of Cherry Laurel for its resistance to shothole leaf fungus, as well as its beautiful evergreen foliage. Fragrant white flowers appear in May and June.
