Juniperus horizontalis 'Plumosa'

Juniper - Andorra

Andorra Juniper is sometimes called Juniperus 'Depressa Plumosa' in the nursery trade, this has been a tried and true groundcover Juniper for a long time. The fine bluish-green foliage is neat and compact. My favorite aspect of it is the lovely plum-purple color it takes on in the winter. It was introduced by Andorra Nurseries in 1907 in Philadelphia, and has been a dry-site staple ever since.
