Magnolia sieboldii 'Colossus'

Magnolia

'Colossus' Oyama Magnolia is the most sun tolerant of the sieboldii Magnolias because of its thicker foliage. The 5" fragrant down-facing flowers are double and white, with lovely red stamens in the center. M. 'Colossus' is particularly attractive as a large multistem shrub or small tree when placed where people can walk under it to look up into the flowers. An introduction from the late Magnolia giant, Dr. August Kehr.
