'Mohonk Red' Common Witchhazel has brick-red flowers in late fall, blooming heavily for an extended period. Found at Mohonk Nature Preserve in New York by Paul Huth and introduced by the Arnold Arboretum. Hamamelis virginiana 'Mohonk Red' is also salt tolerant.
