Camellia japonica 'Les Marbury'

Camellia

'Les Marbury' is an unusual spring blooming Camellia, with formal semi-double white flowers that are heavily flecked with dark pink streaks.  The lustrous evergreen leaves add to its beauty, and the habit is vigorous and upright.  All Camellias need afternoon shade and winter protection.  The large showy flowers open in March and April, but 'Les Marbury' needs a warm protected location since it is a zone 7 plant.
