Lagerstroemia fauriei 'Townhouse'

Crapemyrtle

'Townhouse' Crapemyrtle is even more striking that its relative, Lagerstroemia f. 'Fantasy'. The dark cinnamon and chocolate bark is revealed as the plant matures and its smooth texture cries out to be touched. The 4" white flower clusters are mildly fragrant and appear in July. This is yet another extraordinary plant to come out of the JC Raulston Arboretum of NC State University.
