Magnolia x brooklynensis 'Elizabeth' Common Name: Magnolia Magnolia x 'Elizabeth' is one of the original "yellow breakthrough" Magnolias which shows its M. acuminata parentage in its upright vigorous form. Flowers are large pale yellow and fragrant, coming before leaves are out far enough to obscure them. A wonderful addition to the Magnolia world from the prolific Brooklyn Botanic Gardens breeding program.
