Willow - Flame

The narrow green leaves of 'Flame' Willow turn yellow in fall on curly tipped stems. The stem color is remarkable in fall and winter, turning an increasingly vivid orange-red as the weather cools. Found by Melvin Bergeson of Fertile(!), Minnesota. It is also salt and wet site tolerant. Cut back yearly for best winter color.
