How do I set up a wholesale account?

Pleasant Run Nursery is a WHOLESALE nursery to the trade.  New Customers should complete the Wholesale Account Application on the website.  This will allow you to see the Wholesale portion of our website. 

When you are ready to place your first order, then you will complete the our New Customer form located in Resources/Pleasant Run Document section of the website.  

If you have wholesale access to the website, it does not automatically establishing an account to purchase, they are two different systems.

First orders at Pleasant Run Nursery are COD. The minimum order for pickup is $500.00.

How do I place an order?

Placing an order is easy and there are several options:

You can call, email or fax in your order, once entered we will send you an Acknowledgement.

Submit an order request through the website or use the Order Form on the website and email it to us. 

Pull your own plant order.  Come to the office and get the current availability and nursery map. We have customer golf carts (& wagons if needed).  You can also tag larger woody plants for a future order.

Finally, let us deliver to you. The minimum order amount for delivery is $1,500.

Do you have minimums?

PLANT MINIMUMS:

There is a six (6) plant minimum per individual item for Quart, 1 and 2 gallon material, and a four (4) plant minimum per individual item for 3 gallon material. There is no minimum for 5 gallon+.

When ordering less than the minimum, please add:

$1.00 per plant for Quart, 1 and 2 gallon material

$2.00 per plant for 3 gallon material

Delivery: $1,500

How long are orders held?

Orders may be booked and held for 30 days in advance. If orders are not picked up or delivered after 30 days, they will be voided unless other arrangements have been made.

Do l need to pay sales tax?

We are required to collect 6.625% sales tax on all orders picked up or delivered within New Jersey, unless a properly executed New Jersey sales tax exempt certificate is received. Deliveries to out of state customers are exempt. Once sales tax is invoiced it is payable to the State and will not be refunded. Sales to landscape contractors are not tax exempt in New Jersey.

What credit cards do you accept?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover are accepted.   There is a 3% surcharge on credit cards. 

How do I establish terms?

Account terms can be established once the Credit Application has been completed and approved.  Pleasae make sure all information is entered and the second page is signed.  Our Credit Application can be found in the Resources/Pleasant Run Document Section of our website. Credit accounts are payable Net 30 days. 1.5% per month finance charge on all past due balances. Failure to pay finance charge can result in loss of credit.   

Do you offer delivery?

Yes!  Minimum order amount for delivery is $1,500. Our delivery rates are based on flat mileage.  We deliver all year with our trucks and/or 3rd party carriers.  

All orders for delivery must be finalized by noon, 2 business days prior to the delivery date. Any additions received after this deadline cannot be guaranteed to make the delivery. Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 48 hours. Customer is always responsible to meet the truck and offload plant material at the time which has been prearranged.

What time will I receive my delivery?

If we are delivering on our truck, we can work with you on a specific delivery time.  

If your order is being delivered via a 3rd party carrier, we cannot give you an exact time but we request carriers to arrive first thing in the morning, the plants are pre-pulled so all we need to do is load the truck. The carrier will contact you once the truck leaves our nursery with an estimated ETA.  We will also provide you with a delivery’s tracking PO# prior to shipping. On the day of delivery, you can visit TQL’s website and track the progress of the delivery. Simply go to their website (www.tql.com) and select TRACK SHIPMENT on the top bar, then you will be prompted to enter the PO# provided.

Is the nursery open all year?

Yes!  We are open all 12 months with the exception of the week between Chrsitmas and New Years.  The greenhouses are always accessible.  We ask you call ahead in January and February to let us know you are coming.

Do you allow client visits?

Since we are a wholesale nursery, we ask that you do not bring or send your customers to the nursery without our permission. You are allowed to bring clients with you to the nursery to view plant material but your custoomers are not allowed to come without you.  Please feel free to call us with any questions you may have about your plant tagging needs.

Do you allow dogs at the nursery?

Please do not bring your pets to the nursery.  We have several animals on the farm and are concerned about safety and disruption for everone.  We appreciate your cooperation.

Do you guarantee plant material?

We guarantee that our plants are healthy and true to name upon leaving our nursery. All claims for losses are to be made within 10 days of delivery or pick up. Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 48 hours. All claims for non-viability in plants which are dormant must be made as soon as the plants can be determined to be non-viable. We will gladly correct any mistakes made by us. We do NOT accept returns unless it is a result of our error. In no case will our liability exceed the amount of purchase. The purchaser is always liable for freight charges.

Do you grow native plants?

Yes.  We grow lots of native plants, cultivars and straight species.  We identify native plants on our Availability and you can also use the Plant Search and select Native under Attributes to see suggestions.
