Pleasant Run Nursery Production Tour

Pleasant Run Nursery is pleased to offer guided Production Tours of our facility. Tours may be scheduled by contacting Lisa at the nursery. Landscape Architects are eligible to earn 1.5 LA CES credits for participating in the tour.

To ensure credit approval, all tour requests must be submitted three (3) weeks prior to the desired tour date. Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and is approved for 1.5 Professional Development Hours, qualifying for LA CES Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW).

This guided walking tour provides an inside look at the daily operations of a containerized production nursery. Participants will explore our sustainability-focused production practices, plant selection and evaluation process, and the reasoning behind the plants chosen for our product line. We will also discuss strategies for successful planting, including selecting the right plant for the right site.

Registration & Attendance

• All attendees must pre-register to reserve a space on the tour.

• We reserve the right to cancel any tour with four (4) or fewer registered participants.

• If a cancellation is necessary, notification will be provided no later than 24 hours before the scheduled tour.

What to Expect Pleasant Run Nursery is a wholesale production nursery, and much of the property is unpaved. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and dressing appropriately for outdoor conditions. A question-and-answer session will be held at the conclusion of the tour.
