Prolific branches of airy, captivating flowers composed of burgundy spurs and rosy red sepals float seamlessly about mid-spring breezes, their softly yellow tips dangling just above the medium green foliage. From mid-April to late May, Epimedium ‘Cranberry Dancer’ adds an otherworldly effect to the dry shade border, providing color and visual interest to areas that are often remiss of both, especially during the springtime. The lanceolate foliage, which is unpalatable to both deer and rabbits, takes on bronzy shades during cooler temperatures and remains evergreen in moderate winters.
