Heuchera americana 'Dale's Strain'
'Dale's Strain' Alum Root is named for Dale Hendricks, who found this lovely native in North Carolina. The leaves are green with a subtle overlay of silver, purple and grey. The ivory flowers are tall and not extremely showy but make a nice addition to the shade garden. If dead-headed after blooming in May and June, this Heuchera will often rebloom. It is one of the parents often used in Charles Oliver's breeding work.
