Heucherella x 'Yellowstone Falls' PP22313
Heucherella ‘Yellowstone Falls’ is a native perennial groundcover emboldened by a mix of unexpected, fluorescent color! This hybrid of Heuchera and Tiarella combines the creamy white panicles of the former with the trailing habit and chartreuse foliage of the latter. Known affectionately as ‘Yellowstone Falls’ Trailing Foamy Bells, this low-maintenance native perennial features multi-colored, lobed foliage, bright yellow fading inward to lime green with blood-red veinal markings. From mid-spring to early summer, usually May to July, creamy upright panicles bloom above the highlighter green foliage. Tolerant of partial to heavy shade, Heucherella ‘Yellowstone Falls’ will happily trail about the woodland or shade garden, with a single specimen capable of reaching a spread up to 3’ wide. Add it to a container planting or along an edge where it can cascade over and soften up harsh lines.
