A brand new selection to the Summerific® series lineup, Hibiscus 'Coconut Cream' is a commanding hardy hibiscus selection producing enormous creamy white flowers accented by saturated, dark red eyes from July to September. Dense, dark green to purplish-black foliage creates a lush tropical effect while sturdy stems maintain a strong upright habit through the season. 'Coconut Cream' Rose Mallow is highly tolerant of wet soils once established, and is particularly effective in rain gardens, detention basins, large-scale perennial borders, and high-impact commercial landscapes where ample moisture is available. Its oversized ivory flowers attract hummingbirds, bees, butterflies, and a host of other pollinators while delivering unmistakable seasonal drama to the landscape at a time when many perennials begin to fade.
