Hydrangea quercifolia 'Sikes Dwarf'

Oakleaf Hydrangea

‘Sikes Dwarf’ Oakleaf Hydrangea is a very compact form of our beautiful native Hydrangea. The short (4”) panicles bloom from late May to early July. The sterile florets are creamy white, often maturing to dusty rose before turning tan. The fall color is in shades of bronze to purple, and the cinnamon peeling bark adds winter interest on older plants. Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Sikes Dwarf’ was found by Sarah Sikes and introduced by Louisiana Nursery.
