Ever Red® ('Chang Nian Hong') Fringe Flower combines beautiful foliage with striking flowers.  The bright red Hamamelis-like blooms appear in April and May and are plentiful on the delicate branches.  The small dark burgundy foliage is semi-evergreen (fully evergreen further south), and provides a beautiful contract to the blooms.  The leaves are velvety in appearance, especially when first emerging, and Loropetalum makes an interesting foundation shrub, as well as beautiful winter container in protected locations.  Takes pruning very well.
