'Husker Red' Smooth White Penstemon has pinkish-white flowers on tall stems in June and burgundy red new foliage. The tall white spikes make great cut flowers. Pollinators like bumblebees, swallowtail butterflies, and ruby-throated hummingbirds are attracted to these native plants. 1996 Perennial Plant of the Year.
