Phlox stolonifera 'Pink Ridge'

Creeping Phlox

One of the top-performing selections in Mt. Cuba Center’s Phlox trials, Phlox stolonifera ‘Pink Ridge’ is by far one of our favorite Creeping Phlox that we’ve ever grown! Chosen for its vigorous groundcover habit and upright flamingo-pink blooms, this native perennial is fantastic for covering ground quickly in the part shade or woodland garden. Beginning in early April and blooming well into early June, the flowers of Phlox stolonifera ‘Pink Ridge’ are often visited by various butterfly species and bring this dense, mat-forming groundcover to life. When not in bloom, ‘Pink Ridge’ Creeping Phlox remains attractive with its year-round evergreen foliage that’s known to be deer resistant.
