'Desdemona' Bigleaf Goldenray has golden daisy flowers that are displayed on reddish-purple stems in July and August. Foliage is particularly striking, with large leaves emerging beet-red with purple undersides in spring, aging by mid summer to a bronze-green. Ligularia loves moist sites.
