Spigelia marilandica
The flowers of Indian Pink are bright red on the outside and lemon-yellow on the inside. A striking combination, especially since the petals curl outward at the ends. Indian Pink blooms in early summer and looks stunning in a mass. Likes moist sites, but the earlier you plant it in the summer, the better it survives the winter.
