Cercis canadensis Cotton Candy™ PP29290

Eastern Redbud

A Redbud tree that looks so delicious, you could eat it! Cercis canadensis Cotton Candy™ emphasizes the beloved pea-shaped flowers of this favorite native with a deep, candy-like pink color when budded, unfurling from late April to May and revealing soft pink flowers that resemble the fluffy, yummy shades of the classic carnival treat it gets its name from. Cotton Candy™ Redbud has an upright, slightly arched habit that makes it suitable as a specimen for smaller landscapes. Throughout the growing season, the medium-large cordate foliage maintains a smooth, medium green hue, transforming to golden yellow with the autumn chill.
