Chionanthus retusus 'Tokyo Tower' becomes covered with white panicles in May and June. This Chinese Fringetree is a shiny leaved fastigiate form, with beautiful tan and gold exfoliating bark. Harald Neubauer of Hidden Hollow Nursery in Tennessee brought it back from Japan, under the original name of 'Ivory Tower'.  2026 PHS Gold Medal Winner.
