Prized as one of the best contemporary Iris discoveries, dubbed an “Iris on steroids”, ‘Ming Treasure’ Ampliflora Iris is literally treasured for its profuse, upright, indigo-purple blooms with yellow-to-white signals that appear as large and impressive as the mature specimen itself. Discovered originally in China, ‘Ming Treasure’ Ampliflora Iris has been cultivated in the trade for its stateliness in the landscape, producing 5’ tall blooms for up to 6 weeks from late May to July. A blue-green cast adorns the 4” wide, strappy foliage, remaining attractive even when the plant isn’t in bloom, and also commanding attention at approximately 3’ tall.
