The flowers are small but plentiful white clumps, topping the highly fragrant green foliage. Pycnanthemum tenuifolium spreads aggressively by rhizomes, becoming a very large patch in a wide variety of soil types. Slender Mountain Mint is the host for larvae of the Gray Hairstreak Butterfly.
