Honeycomb® Ninebark has been prized as particularly resistant to powdery mildew, which makes it a perfect specimen for the foundation or border garden where it can be admired all season long. Dense, upright corymbs of bluish-white flowers emerge above the yellow-green foliage from May to June, transforming to peachy-red fruits in summer that juxtapose beautifully with the leaves. Even at the height of summer in full sun, the foliage color is persistent - a perfect companion plant to smaller shrubs with darker leaves or blue and purple flowering perennials.
