'Citronelle' is another wonderful H. villosa cross with vivid chartreuse foliage and small white flowers. A sport of 'Caramel', it has all the endurance qualities of its villosa parentage. It was discovered as a naturally occurring sport of Heuchera ‘Caramel’. Another great introduction from French breeder Thierry Delabroye.
PRN Preferred: Tolerates our hot summers without burning, adding very bright color in shady gardens.
